Created for the Learner, By a Learner

During my time at North Carolina State University, I taught as an instructor of record, a teaching assistant, an undergraduate teaching assistant, and a tutor. The opportunities to refine presentational skills and develop my own teaching material based on the pedagogical research I was studying was a highlight of my education. My work included making lesson visuals and preparing activities that would empower students to engage with the material and set them up for long-term acquisition. My own experience as a language learner gave me an insight into the unique difficulties of syllabi topics and how to scaffold and differentiate instruction based on each class.
